Our mission

Keeping in touch with the people you care about shouldn't mean handing your life to an audience of strangers. Mainstream social apps are optimized for reach, ranking, and engagement — and privacy is usually the thing that gives way. We started Unonico to prove the opposite is possible: a warm, everyday way to share and message that is private by default and honest about the little data it does hold.

What we're building

Unonico is a mobile communication app for iOS and Android. You add friends one at a time, by exchanging a One-Time ID — there is no search, no friend suggestions, and no way for anyone to discover you. Everything you share is visible only to the friends you've chosen, and even the fact that two people are friends is never revealed to anyone else.

The app is in active development ahead of its launch on the App Store and Google Play.
